Arlington, WA Crawl Space Sump Pump

Art and Peggy, homeowners from Arlington, WA, had been dealing with persistent crawl space issues for a considerable period. After noticing our trucks in the neighborhood, he decided to reach out to find a solution. The problems encompassed pests and water-related issues that had been troubling him for years. Additionally, some of the occupants in his home suffered from allergies, which they suspected were triggered by mold in the crawl space. Eager to find a long-term solution and upgrade their home, they contacted us, and our crawl space expert, Kirsten, promptly conducted a thorough inspection. Understanding the importance of a quiet system, Kirsten took special care to consider this requirement during the evaluation. Based on the inspection, we formulated a comprehensive plan to address Art's concerns effectively. The first step involved a full cleanout and waterproofing process to combat the water-related problems that had been plaguing the crawl space. To ensure efficient water diversion and management, we installed efficient drainage trenching along the inner perimeter. To provide an added layer of protection against potential water issues, we implemented the reliable TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Now their crawl space is clean and dry.

Sump Pump Marysville, WA

Linda in Marysville, WA, called Rainy Day because her crawl space was leaking due to groundwater seeping through the foundation. She was concerned about the water problems causing worse issue over time, and looking for a fix to help protect the home from further damage. Our System Design Specialist, Kirsten, designed a waterproofing system to retrofit drainage along the interior perimeter of the crawl space near the foundation to help guide water to the sump pump. We installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, an airtight system with capability of pumping a high volume of water with ease, and a closed system to prevent debris and clogging. Now her space is under control and safe.

Crawl Space Cleaning & Sump Pump in Everett, WA

Daniel and Thao of Everett, WA, faced a persistent crawl space issue - it was wet, messy, overrun by rodents, and in disarray. Turning to Rainy Day for a solution, their main concern was to address these issues. They needed repair, cleaning, insulation, and a new vapor barrier. For this project, Rainy Day introduced our SmartSump system into Daniel and Thao's crawl space. Combined with a drainage system, SmartSump efficiently manages water and automatically pumps out water to keep the area dry. The results were astounding, with the crawl space now dry and rodent-free. They can now enjoy peace of mind, knowing that SmartSump has transformed their crawl space into a clean and dry area.

Sump Pump in Stanwood, WA

Before Rainy Day Basement Systems stepped in, Greg and Cheryl's crawlspace was wet and moldy. They were worried about water damage and their home's foundation. They reached out to Kirsten, an expert inspector, for help. Kirsten knew just what to do. She recommended installing the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Our TripleSafe quickly pumps out the water from the crawlspace, keeping it dry and safe. Kirsten also suggested adding drainage trenches to make sure water never builds up again. Now, Greg and Cheryl can use their crawlspace without worry, and their home is protected from water damage long-term.

Basement and Crawl Space Encapsulation in Sedro Woolley, WA

This homeowner in Sedro Woolley, Washington had standing water in her basement and crawl space. Mold was creeping up the drywall in her basement stairwell, and the musty moldy odors were traveling to other areas of the house.

After Karol was referred to Rainy Day Basement Systems by All American Contractor, we started on an action plan. CleanSpace was used to encapsulate the crawl space and wrap the basement stairwell to prevent moisture and mold growth. Drainage systems and sump pumps were also installed to effectively mitigate ongoing water issues.

Because Karol’s home is built into a hill, water kept flowing down the hillside and into her basement and crawl space. To solve this issue, Rainy Day installed a WaterGuard system with a SuperSump pump in her basement and a drainage trench with a TripleSafe pump in her crawl space. The basement was also equipped with a SaniDry XP dehumidifier for moisture control.

This before picture illustrates the pump system that was in Karol’s crawl space. The old pump did not address the problem like it was supposed to, resulting in pooling water and contributing to the existence of mold. As seen in the after picture, we installed a triple pump system called a TripleSafe that can pump up to 6,200 gallons of water per hour and has a battery backup system.

In a follow-up meeting, Karol said she was very happy and that the system has been working great. She now has peace of mind and can rest easy.
