These Lake Stevens, WA, homeowners had the problem of standing water in their crawl space. The previous owners of the home had the power shut off for months, which lead the pumping system breaking, thus filling it with water. Now, they were faced with the dilemma of getting it fixed. Rainy Day inspected the home and we were able to find a way to transform the wet, flooded crawl space into a completely dry and usable space. We installed our very best waterproofing and drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump. This incredible pump is built to handle high volumes of water, and even has a battery back-up for protection during power outages. We also covered and sealed the crawl space with our CleanSpace encapsulation system which will act as an ultra-thick vapor barrier that can seal away the home from the earth.
Pam and Steve B. had a damp and pet-friendly crawlspace in their Lake Stevens, WA, home. Jean-Paul Holcomb designed a solution to fit their needs and eliminate their problem for the long haul. Foreman, David Nush, and the crew added in a new SmartDrain to protect the crawl space from potential plumbing leaks above the vapor barrier. Then, we wrapped and sealed the piers, walls, and floors in our highly-durable CleanSpace encapsulation system. CleanSpace blocks the entrance of rodents and moisture while creating a dry, mold-free environment. Finally, to filter the air and maintain humidity, an energy-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed. By encapsulating their crawlspace using CleanSpace and our SaniDry, the couple is increasing their home's value and comfort. They are also protecting the home while saving money on energy costs with their new system.

Derek's existing sump pump that he installed himself quit working. Lots of water was leaking in during the rainy seasons. Looking to have the space waterproofed and sealed, he called Rainy Day. We designed a custom solution to his home, which included cleaning, installing a new vapor barrier, and putting in a new sump system to keep the area dry.
Cynthia was alerted of standing water in her crawl space and gave Rainy Day a call. She had two existing pumps at the time that were unable to handle the water and clogging with iron ochre. We installed our perimeter drainage system in the crawl space to better capture leaks. Since it was a larger crawl space, we also installed two SuperSump Plus systems. Our SuperSump Plus has two high-horsepower pumps in one. The crawl space was encapsulated in CleanSpace to seal everything off. We were able to get the water problem under full control to leave the space clean and dry.

Brian in Lake Stevens, WA, called Rainy Day because he was overwhelmed with the musty smell leaking from his moisture-ridden crawl space. His sump pump was clogging, mold was growing, and rodents were running rampant, leaving droppings everywhere. We sent David Nush and the Production crew to the home to replace the sump system with our highly-capable and airtight SmartSump pump system. We waterproofed the crawl space using a new interior discharge line and then encapsulated the entire area from walls to floors with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, making sure to seal and tape all the edges. The result was a dry, usable space, free of rodents and moisture.

Deborah H. bought her Lake Stevens home in 1997. When the people she bought the home from moved out, they took their sump pump with them. It wasn’t long before what she described as a lake developed underneath her home. In order to solve Deborah’s crawl space troubles we installed drainage trenching along the interior footing for the foundation walls. The crawl space was then encapsulated in CleanSpace, a highly durable antimicrobial lining that greatly reduces moisture vapors from reaching the space. A TripleSafe sump pump was installed to remove all of the captured seepage.
