This crawl space originally had an open access that was very wet and muddy. We replaced it with our EverLast Access Well. Not only is the EverLast aesthetically pleasing, it is highly functional as well. It is large enough for someone to enter the crawl space with ease and its durability holds back soil, keeping your yards landscaping neat.

Whenever it would rain, this Camano Island crawl space collected 2-3 inches of water. The owners had directed the downspouts away from the home, however because it was at the bottom of a hill, it was hard to prevent water seepage into the crawl space. To best prevent water seepage, we installed drainage trenching along the footing of the foundation walls to capture the water and direct it towards the TripleSafe Sump Pump we installed. Once the water seepage was under control, we began to focus on moisture vapor. To reduce the humidity and moisture, we encapsulated the crawl space in CleanSpace, a highly durable lining that won’t tear and is secured tightly to the foundation walls. Finally, a SaniDry CX Dehumidifier was installed to further regulate the moisture. The SaniDry CX is completely automatic, it activates, deactivates and drains itself with very little responsibility from the homeowner. Their crawl space is now a clean and healthy environment.

Anders had water leaking under his home due to heavy rains. The Camano Island home was left with lots of standing water. Jean-Paul Holcomb inspected the area to provide an accurate estimate. We determined to solve his crawlspace concerns, we would install a perimeter drainage channel. We placed a SuperSump Plus sump pump system to collect the water from the channel. Then, we encapsulated the crawl space in CleanSpace. To control humidity, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Our system will keep the home dry and maintained for years to come.

David B. of Camano Island was having issues in his crawl space and was looking for a solution. His existing sump system was open and kept clogging up with sand. He was very concerned with the overall health of his home.
To alleviate David’s crawl space problems, we installed our patented drainage system to capture leaks at the perimeter of the crawl space. The drainage system is made up of perforated piping to prevent clogging. Along with our TripleSafe sump pump system, which is three high-capacity pumps in one airtight basket, he no longer needs to worry about sand clogging it up and causing a leak.

Jeff of Camano Island, WA, met with our inspector, Ed Upenieks, to find a solution for his wet basement. During the rainy seasons, water would seep in and cause costly damage that was adding up quickly. For this project, we installed our WaterGuard drainage channel. WaterGuard is designed to sit on top of the wet footing and capture water from the wall. It uses special segments along the backside of a flange that sticks up above the floor, allowing water to drain down the system. It is also perforated and will prevent dirt and debris from clogging it up over the years. We are confident that this will help prevent any more water from entering his basement and save him from additional damage.

Dave from Camano Island, WA, purchased a home a year ago and discovered his crawl space under his home that was flooding. He had a sump pump running, but it was not sufficiently able to handle the water coming in. He had about four to six inches of standing water. We scheduled our service technician, Russ, to pump out the water out of the crawl space. From there, we then scheduled a follow-up appointment with an inspector who could further evaluate the root cause and a more permanent fix.

Joan and Charles gave us a call because they were concerned about the amount of water coming into their Camano Island basement. The basement had an existing sump pump, however, water had formed a small creek across the floor to far side of their basement. The homeowners revealed that at one point, they were without power for three days and accumulated nearly a foot of water in their basement.
After performing a thorough inspection, our system design specialist determined the water was seeping through small fractures in the foundation walls, as well as the chimney. It was clear that the fractures had been made worse by the water seepage over the years. The homeowner’s objectives for the basement were to minimize moisture and to keep the floor and walls dry all the time.
To keep Joan and Charles’ basement dry all the time, we installed WaterGuard Drainage Trenching. WaterGuard is a sub-floor drainage system that is installed along the interior perimeter of the foundation walls. It effectively captures water from the soil below, in addition to wall seepage from basement walls. The trenching then directs the water to their upgraded sump pump. We installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system, which comprises three pumps in one. One pump being the UltraSump, a battery back-up pumping system that automatically activates upon failure of the other two pumps, like in the instance of a power outage.
