Rainy Day Basement Systems Case Studies: Water Control System in Camano Island, WA Crawl Space

Challenge

When Dave first contacted Rainy Day, he knew there was fallen insulation in his crawl space that he wanted removed. What he didn’t realize was that there was a ton of standing water down there as well. Our the foreman went to the Camano Island home and got right to work. With the amount of water his crawl space, we had to come up with a permanent solution to prevent any more damage from happening.

Solution

First, we performed a pre-pump to halt the severe flooding from interfering. Using freshly dug drainage trenches, we placed a new TripleSafe sump pump system in the low spot of the crawl space. The TripleSafe is designed to handle high volumes of water with ease and has a backup battery and pump in case of pump failure. From the pump a discharge line now will guide the water out of the home and escape through the LawnScape Outlet in the yard away from the property.

Everything in the crawl space was finally encapsulated using our patented CleanSpace system which is made up of a thick, impenetrable, and inorganic material that will protect the home from water intrusion.
