Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Drainage in Crawl Space for Leaking, Marysville, WA

Water in Dmitriy's crawl space were making piers move and cracks appear on the interior of the home. He wanted to repair the drainage issue in order to be able to sell the home. Jean-Paul Holcomb, Design Specialist at Rainy Day, created a simple yet effective solution to his problem. In this album, we show some of the products we used to get this home in shape to help sell. 

Crawl Space Repair

This was the home's crawl space before the project.

Crawl Space Debris

There was loose debris and the homeowner wanted to improve the space to be able to sell it.

Moisture in Crawl Space

The primary concern was the dampness and getting everything generally cleaned up.

Clean Crawl Space

To start off, we cleaned out the crawl space of loose debris and inorganic material to lay in the designed solution.

Drainage

We installed 168 feet of our interior drainage piping along the perimeter of the crawl space to control groundwater leaks.

Vapor Barrier

We installed a new 6 mil poly black vapor barrier.

Sump Pump

Our Design Specialist, Jean-Paul, recommended installing this SuperSump Plus system to keep water at bay.

IceGuard

Water going through a discharge line will drain to the outside, and to protect the line from freezing, we installed this IceGuard Port exclusive to Basement Systems dealers.
