Old Sump Pump
This home had a major groundwater problem. The homeowner already tried a French drain outside of the home, but the real problem needed to be addressed within the crawl space.
Crawl Space Inspection
Uncontrolled moisture was causing some sinking of the foundation.
Open Crawl Space
Open vents in the crawl space let outside air in. Even with fiberglass insulation, energy can be easily lost from an open crawl space.
Crawl Space Cleanout
When we started this installation, we cleaned out the old vapor barriers and insulation to make way for the new system.
Sump Pump Install
After the clean-out, we began installing the drainage system. The sump pump was placed and flood tested at the low spot of the crawl space.
Crawl Space Piping
We laid in piping in freshly dug drainage trenches. Our piping is perforated and sits at the footing at the inside perimeter of the foundation.
Drainage Install
Unlike French drains which are difficult to install and are placed on the exterior, our system is on the interior. Most groundwater leaks come from the space between the wall and footing, which is why these homeowners were still having leakage issues before calling us.
EverLast Access Well Install
Our EverLast Crawl Space Access Well is built to last and made of durable, waterproof materials that won't corrode or rot over time.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
We replaced the old sump pump with a three-in-one TripleSafe sump system. With a battery backup, the pump will work even during power outages.
Crawl Space Moisture Barrier
The entire crawl space was encapsulated using our CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is 20mil thick compared to most 6mil vapor barriers, so it will conserve energy and keep the home dry.
