Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Leaky Crawl Space in Freeland, Washington
This Freeland homeowner contacted us to come out and perform a free inspection and estimate within a week of her moving in to her home. Her foundation posts were rotted and there were pools of standing water spread about her crawl space.
To prevent standing water, we installed drainage trenching along the interior perimeter of the foundation walls. The drainage will direct the captured ground water to the TripleSafe Sump Pump we added. The TripleSafe is equipped with three pumps, including the UltraSump, a battery back-up system that will automatically activate in the event of a power outage or other pump failure.
The crawl space was then encapsulated with CleanSpace, a highly durable vapor barrier that greatly reduces moisture and humidity levels. CleanSpace Vent Covers and an EverLast Crawl Space door were added to complete the encapsulation. Both incorporate weather stripping for an airtight seal and are made from completely inorganic materials that will not rust or grow mold. Finally, we installed a SaniDry CX Dehumidifier to give the homeowner ultimate control over the moisture levels in her crawl space.

The SaniDry CX's small profile makes it the perfect dehumidifier for a crawl space. Also, because it is automatic, the homeowner won't ever have to worry about emptying the water reservoir.
