Ian contacted Rainy Day about his basement and crawl space. He was working with two sump pumps in his crawl space installed by the previous homeowner. The pumps were not deep enough to be below the level of the slab and collect all the water that entering. Water pressure from rain under the house penetrated the slab and flooded downstairs. Searching for a better solution, Rainy Day inspected the home. We waterproofed both problem areas with our system to remove water from the home for good.

Drainage

We broke up the concrete along the perimeter of the basement to install our interior drainage channel in the ground.

The drainage, WaterGuard, consists of perforated piping to collect water and connect to a new sump pump located in the crawl space.

Once installed, the homeowners can follow through with finishing their basement and the channel sits under the flooring.
