Water was leaking through the basement floor of Gerrit & Rena's home in Lynden, WA. Water seeped from the same areas each time through the cement floor. Their existing pump was always running during the rainy season, and with power outages, their problems worsened. They decided to give the Rainy Day Basement Systems team a call to get a waterproofing plan underway. Ed Upenieks was the System Design Specialist to create a solution, and Wyatt Sokolis led the crew to install it. With a waterproofing system tailored to their scope of work, we were able to address each issue to give them a dry basement

Old Sump Pump

Their old sump pump could not keep up with the amount of water and would pump months out of the year.

Our crew breaks the concrete along the edge of the floor near the stem wall to create space for the drainage to go.
