Proud Sponsors of the Great Stilly Duck Dash

As proud sponsors of the Duck Dash, we love seeing how the funds raised benefit the community The Great Stilly Duck Dash is a fundraising tradition in Arlington that goes back roughly 25 years, since 1987. As one of the sponsors of the event, we are proud to see how the funds raised are being donated.

According to the article "Ducks enable Rotary giving" published on the North County Outlook website in December 2011,

"Since this summer's Duck Dash, the Rotary Club of Arlington has donated almost $40,000 to local organizations, including

  • $20,000 to the Arlington Community Food Bank for the new facility
  • $5,000 to the Arlington Chamber of Commerce for Frontier Days in Arlington
  • $5,000 to Kids' Kloset
  • $4,000 to Open Door Theatre to teach students safety skills through dramatic productions
  • $2,500 to the Mount Baker Boy Scouts to improve a camping structure on Fire Mountain
  • $1,100 to Boy Scout Troop 29 to support its activities"
