A Christmas Wish for Arlington

Meagan and Marcy gathering up all the donations to drop them off at the Boys and Girls Club.

This holiday season will definitely add a few more pages to the Rainy Day memory book!

We are very grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the Snohomish County donation drive, A Christmas Wish, hosted at the Arlington Boys and Girls Club.

We collected a total of 207 items! We donated 88 toys, 1 blanket, 111 clothing items and 7 food items to the Arlington Boys and Girls Club.

From November 27 to December 15, 2017, Rainy Day was a drop-off for non-perishable food and new and used toys and clothes. Donations went to local children, newborn to 18, for Christmas.

We gathered a total of 207 items for the boys and girls in the community. The 88 toys, 111 clothing items, 1 blanket and 7 food items were brought to the Boys and Girls Club December 15, helping make the Christmas wishes of our local kids come true.

Donations included canned and boxed food, baby clothes, pants, shirts, shoes, board games, stuffed animals, Budley headphone cases, princess costumes, toy kitchen accessories, toy tool sets, Star Wars Lego sets, a dinosaur model set, a toy tractor, Hot Wheels and a toy tent.

A Christmas Wish brightened up the atmosphere in our office, spreading Christmas cheer and reminding us of the important things in life. We look forward to lending out a helping hand next year.

Rainy Day wants to give a special thank you to all the donors, Christmas Wish volunteers and Boys and Girls Club staff members for making this possible.

We gifted this poster to those on the donation board. We are very grateful for the chance to be a drop-off spot, and look forward to future opportunities.    We also gifted the Boys and Girls Club a poster to show our appreciation for hosting the donation drive.
