Rainy Day Basement Systems Case Studies: Basement System for Waterproofing in Everett, WA

Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 by Bayleigh Stelling

Josh of Everett, WA called into our office with an unfinished basement leaking in moisture. It started in one corner and worsened depending on the rain. With the home on the market to sell with a potential buyer, he wanted to get the project completed as soon as possible.

We were able to install a basement waterproofing system within two days. Foreman, Rogelio Rodriguez, brought the crew to add a new sump pump system and interior drainage channel.

For this project, we installed nearly one hundred feet of WaterGuard, which is made of inorganic perforated piping. It is specially designed with a flange to capture water at the wall-floor joint and pumps the groundwater out from the sump pump.

The sump pump system we installed uses a super reliable 1/3HP Zoeller cast iron pump, our SuperSump sump pump system. It is equipped to handle high volumes of water with ease and can pump nearly 2,600 gallons per hour from the home as needed.

Now, Josh's basement is dry and ready for sale with a waterproofing system built to protect the new homeowners for years to come.
