Rainy Day Basement Systems Case Studies: Lynnwood Basement gets Waterproofed with WaterGuard System
Challenge
Shortly after moving into their Lynnwood home, Andy and Kelly B. noticed their basement walls were leaking during heavy rainfall, sometimes allowing up to four inches of water to fill the room. They had only lived there for one month before water had caused damage to their carpet and drywall. Concerned about additional damages to their home, they contacted Rainy Day Basement Systems for a long term solution to their basement troubles.
Solution
To prevent future water seepage, Rainy Day Basement Systems installed our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system. Its unique design includes a wall flange and large channel holes which allows for the greatest amount of intake. The seepage is directed towards the newly installed SuperSump Pump which is strategically placed in the lowest point of the basement.
The water is then pumped out through the LawnScape Outlet. A LawnScape Outlet is a discreet buried discharge line that carries the water a safe distance away from the homes foundation.
Andy and Kelly can now live in their new home without having to worry about their basement potentially flooding.
