Rainy Day Basement Systems will be a drop-off point for the Arlington Boys and Girls Club to accept donations of toys, clothes, and food for the charity event, A Christmas Wish.

This holiday season, Rainy Day Basement Systems is a hosting a Christmas drive in support of Snohomish County youth.

From November 27 to December 15, Rainy Day will be accepting donations Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm of new and slightly used clothes and toys for boys and girls ages newborn to 18. Items can include (but are not limited to) blankets, coats, pants, dresses, pajamas, shoes, shampoo, makeup, electronics, movies, money, gift cards, board games, stuffed animals, remote control cars, coloring books, and dolls. Non-perishable food will also be accepted, such as boxed food, canned food, bagged snacks, jarred sauces, and candy. Christmas cards are always welcome.

Donors will have the opportunity to be featured on Rainy Day’s Facebook with their gift, fill out a Christmas card and/or color in the donation thermometer if they wish.

At the beginning of the day on Friday, December 15, Rainy Day will donate all items to the Arlington Boys and Girls Club to be sorted and passed out to local families before Christmas. Items need to be unwrapped so that they can be sorted. Money donated will go toward buying toys for the age group that didn’t get enough donations.

A Christmas Wish is the perfect opportunity to give love and support to the community, and Rainy Day is excited to be a part of it. Rainy Day wants to give a special thanks to everyone who will help make the Christmas wishes of our local kids come true.
