Proudly serving Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island and San Juan Counties
During the remodel of this Snohomish home, the contractor working on the project found water leaking in from the wall-floor joint.
The homeowners wanted to take action to stop the leak and proceed with creating a dry, worry-free space. We found the leak was coming from the crawl space.
We installed a SuperSump sump pump system near the fireplace in the basement at the low spot of the area to collect water leaks and discharge out of the home. SuperSump is a sturdy cast-iron Zoeller pump which will smoothly and quietly pump 2220 gallons per hour.
WaterGuard sits above the footer to avoid blocking it with dirt and the flange in the design allows water to be collected from the face of the foundation wall into the channel.
In ground, we installed our WaterGuard waterproofing system. WaterGuard is the best way to fix basement leaks because it is a drainage channel specially designed to collect water and direct it to the sump without clogging.
Showing here is the IceGuard, a port to prevent the line from freezing and flooding.
At the edge of the yard, water can safely discharge through a discrete LawnScape Outlet.
A contractor working on a house in Snohomish was having issues with water leaking from the crawl space to the basement and causing serious damage. He contacted Rainy Day because he heard about our solutions and wanted to fix the problem to continue building.
