Washington State Stay at Home Order for COVID-19

As you know, the state of Washington has issued a “Shelter In Place” order, requiring that nonessential personnel stay at home. However, the services that Rainy Day Basement Systems offers are considered essential, so we will continue to serve our customers in Skagit, Island, Whatcom, Snohomish, and San Juan Counties.

We are taking extra precautions and making adjustments to adapt to the current situation.

These include:

  • Our inspection and production teams will tailor your customer experience to your own comfort level. This includes calling before the appointment to find out if you’re ok with meeting with us face to face while maintaining social distancing.
  • We are offering no-contact estimates at this time. Your Design Specialist can provide an inspection and then call you to go over the findings and solutions.
  • We will also ask if you have had any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, to keep our own teams safe.
  • Our inspection and production teams will have masks with them available to wear during appointments if you prefer.
  • Our production teams will continue to wear personal protective equipment to perform their duties. These vary by job type but include dust masks, hard hats, safety glasses and gloves to help keep customers and employees safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We continue to emphasize hand washing, social distancing and other CDC recommendations.

This is a difficult time for all of us, but we are all in it together as we all adapt to it together.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our office at 1-360-435-6992 or email us at [email protected].
