The First Annual Snowball Drop at Arlington Hometown Holidays

SnowflakeThis weekend, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first annual snowball drop located at the Legion Park parking lot in downtown Arlington. The event will take place at 1pm on Saturday, December 3rd following the Arlington Hometown Holidays Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Spectators will be showered by a man-made blizzard of ping pong “snowballs,” each of which are available for purchase on the Arlington Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce website for $1. Every snowball will be exchangeable for a discount, gift and/or give-away certificate worth a value of $5 or more. Certificates will be redeemable at participating local retailers and can include anything from free Seahawks gear to ½ off Lasik eye procedures. There are even a few certificates that can be used here at Rainy Day Basement Systems for $200 off a crawl space encapsulation or another qualified system. But the fun doesn’t end there, Santa will be making visits at Legion Park until 3pm and there will be a Holiday Vendor Fair held at Presidents Elementary until 6pm to help raise funds for the Arlington Education Foundation. Have a safe and fun weekend, and we hope to see you out having a good time at Arlington Hometown Holidays!
