When they purchased their home in Arlington, this homeowner knew the crawl space needed a complete overhaul. It had an old vapor barrier with moisture on top, rodents, and bad insulation. To create a healthy and protected space under the home, we sent Jean-Paul Holcomb to design a proposal. He developed a system to address the moisture, mold, and rodents. Our long-term solution comes with a guarantee and will help save energy in the process. Check out the full photo gallery for this project here.
This Arlington, Washington crawl space had a problem with old insulation groundwater, and musty odors. Rainy Day came and did a full clean-out, then we covered the crawl space in our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. Our system seals out the odor with a thick antimicrobial material while helping to retain heat in the home, saving energy consumption.
To stop odors in this musty crawl space, we cleaned out and encapsulate it using our CleanSpace system. CleanSpace is the key to sealing out the draft and odors from a typical vented crawl space. The homeowners get the benefit of protecting their home without the fear of high energy consumption.
Water was leaking into this Snohomish daylight basement on the floor and around the fireplace. To fix it, we designed a plan to stop the water leaking in with our sub-floor WaterGuard drainage and SuperSump pump system to help move the basement toward finishing.
Lisa and Todd were planning to sell their home soon and needed to repair it first. Water in the crawl space began to rot the posts, jeopardizing the structure. We installed four steel angle brackets and attatched them to the foundation to and support beams.
Rodents, falling insulation, dampness, and a mud were all a problem in this Everett crawl space. When it comes to health under the home, it can affect the health in the home. The homeowner decided the best fix would be our patented CleanSpace encapsulation system. We installed it to seal the crawl space and create a mold and moisture-free environment.
When we encapsulate a crawl space, we are isolating it from the damp soils beneath it. We are also preventing mold and rodents from entering. Using our CleanSpace encapsulation, SmartDrain, and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, we were able to transform this once rodent and water ridden crawl space into something clean, dry, and energy efficient.
This crawl space in Everett got a total makeover! The homeowners called us and said that their crawl space looked a lot like our "Before" photos. It was very wet and needed some help. We cleaned it out and installed our drainage, vapor barrier, and sump pump system to leave it far better and more dry than ever before.
Water used to seep from the sump pump in this Everett crawl space. The old pump was rusting and clogging with debris. We upgraded their system to our TripleSafe. With this three-in-one sump pump system, we stopped the flooding for good.
Robert's crawl space in Brier was in need of a repair due to a lot of water leaking in and causing damage. We needed to address the concern, so we installed our crawl space drainage system and encapsulated the crawl space in CleanSpace. To handle the high volume of water that was coming in the crawl space, we installed our super reliable TripleSafe Sump Pump System. TripleSafe keeps the crawl space dry with the protection of three submersible pumps in one airtight container.
Robert was very satisfied with the job and clean-up, and he highly recommended our Production Foreman, Xavier Ortiz, for the project.

This crawl space in Mountlake Terrace had a lot of water damage and mold. Before our repairs, it was unable to drain, causing the supporting posts under the home to rot. We came in and installed six steel angle brackets and secured them to the concrete. We also installed our in-ground drainage channel and SuperSump Plus sump system. The home can now reliable discharge over 2280 gallons of water per hour if needed, and will remain structurally sound and dry.
A sump pump clogging with sand and damp places under his home motivated David to call Rainy Day to find a better solution. Our crew came and installed an interior crawlspace drainage system, complete with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Our complete waterproofing system will not only control and prevent water from coming in, but it also will not isolate the home from moist soil and hinder clogging using our patented design.

Linda wanted to fix her wet crawl space at the property she recently purchased in Bellingham. The crawl space had mold and needed a sump pump and better drainage. We installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation System in her crawl space to provide long-term protection under the home and fix the leak coming from the foundation wall and footing.
This homeowner in Bellingham had water leaking in and wanted to stop the problem before it worsened. They called Rainy Day to install our waterproofing system, which included putting in one of our SuperSump Plus systems. SuperSump Plus comes with two high-horsepowered pumps to handle pumping out lots of water with ease. The system is worry-free and works automatically to control moisture under the home.
Ensuring your home stays dry is of utmost importance to us here at Rainy Day. Under this home in Bellingham, we found mold, moisture, and high humidity. We were able to repair the moisture issues and control humidity using our encapsulation system, sump pump, and dehumidifier. Our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier is energy efficient and has the ability to clear harmful allergens & airborne contaminants from the crawl space to help provide clean air to the rest of the home. Having a healthy crawl space is important because nearly 60% of the air you breathe in the living space comes up from the crawl space.
Before: This crawl space was mostly dry until recently when it started leaking and holding on to standing water. The homeowners were concerned, and called Rainy Day for a solution.
After: We cleaned out the crawl space and installed our waterproofing system. It started with installing drainage piping and sump pump system. We then sealed the crawl space in our highly-durable CleanSpace vapor barrier. Once the crawl space was encapsulated, we installed our energy-efficient SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep humidity low and filter the air. The before and after is drastic, and now the home is protected and dry.
This homeowner from Bellingham had a failing sump pump that he had already replaced. He continued to have water leaking in, along with rodents. Determined to find a better way to protect his home, he called the team at Rainy Day to help. We had our System Design Specialist, Ryan Adams, inspect and propose a solution. Using our 20 mil thick vapor barrier, CleanSpace, we encapsulated the crawl space. The process involves sealing off the crawl space from the damp soil, controlling water with drainage, and putting in a more reliable sump pump system. We then installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure proper humidity. The result was a guaranteed solution, clean air, and a dry crawl space.
This taller than average crawl space had mold and moisture. The homeowners wanted to protect their home and improve the space. We installed drainage piping, sump pump, and vapor barrier to create a beautifully transformed and more functional space.

A leaky basement means that space can worsen significantly over time. That's why John contacted us to help find a fix. He was looking for something that was simple, yet effective to stop the leak. Using a lateral line, discharge line, and SuperSump pump system, we were able to address his wet basement and stop water from coming in at all angles.
This homeowner wanted us to create usable space under her home. We encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace vapor barrier to ensure the area was dry and protected. CleanSpace consists of seven durable layers of poly material reinforced with cord. Before, the space was open and had no moisture barrier. Our installation helped to close off the space, control humidity, and improve energy efficiency.
Before Rainy Day transformed this crawl space, there was tons of mold and moisture from groundwater leaking in, especially during the rainy months. We applied 962 feet of Mold X-2 to this crawl space. Mold-X2 is an all-natural, antimicrobial, fungicidal, and deodorizing treatment for mold.
