When the rat traps were failing to capture some of the rodents coming into their crawlspace, George and Stacey were set on fixing it. They also wanted to level out the sagging floors in their home. After customizing a solution, we installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system, complete with a SaniDry dehumidifier and put in 14 SmartJacks to solve their problems permanently.
In the before photo, this Burlington crawl space was open and had pests entering through a large and open access. The homeowners wanted a more effective way to insulate their home and protect it from rodents. We installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system, which will serve as the insulation and vapor barrier. During the encapsulation process, we sealed and closed the openings and vents to control the environment under the home and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifer. We highly recommend maintaining low humidity with a dehumidifier to ensure clean, healthy, and allergen-free air circulates through the home. By isolating the home and its occupants, we help keep the home at a comfortable temperature while protecting it from the damage of moisture, mold, and pests.
Evelyn and John had purchased their home in Coupeville, WA, and had been living in it for about a year. They called Rainy Day to come out and inspect their crawl space because of an ongoing musty smell emanating from it. This turned out to be a preexisting water and mold problem that the previous owners of the home had discussed with them the year prior. We came to the home and fixed their leaky crawl space by installing our WaterGuard drainage channel. The channel is a non-clogging system that is able to capture water through walls along the floor joint. Our WaterGuard product comes with a 20-year warranty against clogs, so John and Evelyn can now have the peace of mind that their home will stay dry.
In this Coupeville basement, we installed our UltraSump sump pump. This high-capacity system can handle pumping over 2,000 gallons of water per hour. If the power goes out, you have a second power source and a secondary pump.
