Homeowners in Mount Vernon, Washington were dealing with moisture in their crawl space despite having a sump... Watch Video »
Kraig and Janel were dealing with periodic leaking during heavy rain in their Monroe basement. The seepage through the walls was a major problem and they wanted to get it fixed. We solved the leak using our basement DryTrak Basement Drainage System. DryTrak is noninvasive and installed above ground. The practical design safely rids the basement of water seepage to ensure the area stays dry.
This crawl space desperately needed a new vapor barrier. The preexisting one was covered in dirt, missing in some places and was no longer serving its purpose. We encapsulated the crawl space with a highly durable lining called CleanSpace. The 20 mils. thick lining seals the space and greatly reduces moisture and humidity.
Lack of usable storage in this crawl space led homeowners, Sean and Jennifer, to call Rainy Day. Their existing crawl space was slightly damp and dreary.
To protect the home and insulate the tall space, we installed our Foamax Wall Panels and CleanSpace Encapsulation System.
We sufficiently controlled humidity and moisture in the crawl space using our SaniDry Sedona Dehumdifier, SmartDrain, and condensate pump. This reliable system will keep energy consumption low and create the usable the space they were hoping for, minus the worries of mold, musty smells, or dampness.
Pam and Steve B. had a damp and pet-friendly crawlspace in their Lake Stevens, WA, home. Jean-Paul Holcomb designed a solution to fit their needs and eliminate their problem for the long haul. Foreman, David Nush, and the crew added in a new SmartDrain to protect the crawl space from potential plumbing leaks above the vapor barrier. Then, we wrapped and sealed the piers, walls, and floors in our highly-durable CleanSpace encapsulation system. CleanSpace blocks the entrance of rodents and moisture while creating a dry, mold-free environment. Finally, to filter the air and maintain humidity, an energy-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed. By encapsulating their crawlspace using CleanSpace and our SaniDry, the couple is increasing their home's value and comfort. They are also protecting the home while saving money on energy costs with their new system.

These homeowners had us out to fix a persistent leak in their basement. Their sump pump was failing and they wanted to finish and make the basement usable. We installed our WaterGuard drainage channel, sump pump, and waterproof wall panels. After a few months of further remodeling their basement, we returned to install our waterproof flooring. Now, the space is beautiful, dry, and protected.
This home in Lake Stevens, Washington had a few issues in their crawl space. They needed a vapor barrier and insulation, but also wanted to prevent rodents. We encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace system and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. CleanSpace covers all accessible dirt floors and walls to create a healthy environment under the home. SaniDry keeps the humidity low to prevent mold and moisture. Combined, this tried and true system helps with energy efficiency, value, and protection long-term.
After a rat made its way into this damp, dirty crawlspace in Mountlake Terrace, WA and the homeowners decided it was time to find a solution. Our crew came and transformed their crawlspace into a healthy, dry space free of rodents. We encapsulated the crawlspace in CleanSpace, our thick and durable vapor barrier. All vents and penetrations were sealed and we added our SaniDry to dehumidify the crawlspace and control moisture. The result was a beautiful and clean home free from pest intrusion.
This Lynnwood home had a messy crawl space. There was fallen insulation, evidence of rodents and it leaked during heavy rains. Rainy Day cleaned out their entire crawl space, including the ruined insulation, and added drainage trenching and a TripleSafe Sump Pump to control water seepage. We then encapsulated the space with CleanSpace. Once sealed, we added a SaniDry CX Dehumidifier to further control the moisture.
This Marysville beach home was allowing moisture into the basement through the walls, causing them to crumble from the interior. EverLast Wall Panels were installed to repair the crumbling walls in addition to preventing future water seepage.
Before, this crawl space in Tulalip needed a general inspection for vapor barrier and insulation removal. The high humidity was creating the ideal space for mold and wood damage. Rainy Day sealed the crawl space, replaced damaged posts and covered the area with our insulating vapor barrier and dehumidifier. Their new system will help seal out the draft and help save them money on utility bills.
A senior living facility in Edmonds, WA, was having trouble with a leaky crawl space and basement and the water was coming up from the foundation. The owners of the property needed a permanent fix, so we sent System Design Specialist, Jean-Paul Holcomb, to provide a free on-site inspection and estimate. Once he was able to determine the solution to control the water leaking in, we had our crew with Foreman, David Nush, out to complete the project over the span of a week.
By installing an interior drainage channel in the basement, we were able to re-direct water from the ground to a brand new TripleSafe Sump Pump System. With the TripleSafe, the property owners have peace of mind. The three-in-one pump system can handle thousands of gallons of water per hour and even keeps working when the power goes out with a battery back-up.
This property had a severe leak coming from the basement/crawl space area in the home. Going into the rainy season, they were looking for protection long-term. We installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump and drainage system to collect water and stop the leak. Now the space is dry and safe for all seasons!
In Mount Vernon, these homeowners had a leak and extremely high humidity affecting the crawl space and basement. Tenants living in the space were concerned, and ready for a fix. Humidity and moisture can cause not only mold, but musty smells as well. We transformed the space with our waterproofing system & drainage, complete with our CleanSpace moisture barrier. Sealing the area will protect from mold and the extremely high humidity.
Health and indoor air quality were very important to Peter & Karla from Mount Vernon. Their new home's crawl space had rodents, mold, and standing water. Karla was also dealing with respiratory issues. Jean-Paul designed a system to fix their crawl space for good using our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. CleanSpace isolates the home from the earth's moisture to create a controlled, safe environment.
The odors from their crawl space were giving David and Bonny R. headaches and making them feel ill. They reached out to Rainy Day, looking for a solution to their broken sump pump and leaking crawl space, as well as the problems that ensued such as water damage, mold, mildew, wood rot, rust, poor insulation and insect infestation.
Mold and mildew love wet, warm and damp environments, making the before crawl space a hospitable home. The 13 wide-open vents around the crawl space allowed water and dirt in, providing a foundation for the mold and mildew to start, grow and spread.
Bugs and other pests such as spiders like rotting materials like wood. As seen in the before picture, a large spider is making himself a cozy home next to the mold on the ceiling. There were spiders and eggs all over the crawl space, making matters worse.
After cleaning out all the muck—rotting wood pieces, rocks, mold, webs, the old plastic liner—we leveled the uneven surfaces. Then, to solve the leaking, mold and odor issues, we installed a full drainage and encapsulation system.
As seen in the after picture, we placed SilverGlo and CleanSpace on the walls after removing the mold and debris from the ceiling and pipes. Both SilverGlo and CleanSpace are durable, providing insulation for the crawl space, keeping condensation off the walls and creating a barrier from outside air, dirt, and pests. CleanSpace and SilverGlo are also inorganic, so they will never mold or rot. The heavy-duty white CleanSpace liner is flexible, puncture resistant and creates a healthy and welcoming crawl space.

These homeowners in Greenbank were ready to fix their home because they were tired of their crawl space leaking. Water and rodents made their way under the home, causing insulation to fall and the vapor barrier to shuffle out of place. We installed our crawl space drainage system, added our SuperSump Plus, and encapsulated using CleanSpace. Once finished, the space was totally sealed and dry.
In this Coupeville basement, we installed our UltraSump sump pump. This high-capacity system can handle pumping over 2,000 gallons of water per hour. If the power goes out, you have a second power source and a secondary pump.
Thomas and Robyn were having moisture problems in their crawl space that were leading to musty odors in their home. Their existing vapor barrier was dingy and was covered in dirt and in some places, standing water. To prevent future moisture issues, we installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump along with drainage trenching along the footing of the interior foundation walls. We then encapsulated the crawl space in CleanSpace, our highly durable 20-mil. thick crawl space lining. The space is now a clean and healthy environment that Thomas and Robyn plan to use for storage.
Like many parts of Washington, Bellingham commonly gets long periods of rain. Homeowners, Martin and Genn, had water frequently leaking into their basement stairwell and they knew that the situation was just going to get worse.
Their flooring and walls had water damage. Their basement, which was also their laundry room and storage area, was cold and unwelcoming. They did not want further damage to their home or items, so they contacted Rainy Day. After their free inspection and estimate, a plan was created to install a drainage system and restore the walls and flooring.
In the before picture, we removed the old walls and saw that the concrete around the window was moist and moldy. The prior walls did not seal tightly, leading to leaking, moisture, and mold which then damaged the walls and flooring, and contributed to the flooding. Additionally, the weak seal meant that outside air was also coming in, resulting in letting cold air inside in the winter and hot air in the summer.
The after picture shows the Total Basement Finishing EverLast panels (which are on top of Basement-to-Beautiful panels). All the panels fit snuggly around the pipes and windows, giving the room insulation in an attractive fashion. In addition, sandstone gray ThermalDry tiles on top of the cold concrete will help keep the temperature of the room under control whilst also making the room inviting. With this new snug seal on the inorganic walls and flooring, the homeowners don’t have to worry about mold, moisture, debris and air damaging their basement like before. They also won’t have to pay more to heat or cool a room that is not going to keep the desired temperature.
Pump and drainage systems will ensure that any water that does come into the basement will be disposed of fast and effectively, even on really rainy days. The TripleSafe pump system with two pumps, a backup battery, and alarm system will provide the homeowners with the reassurance that their basement will be safe even in the wet Washington weather. WaterGuard at the perimeter of the basement and TrenchDrain in the doorways and stairways will collect and direct any water to the TripleSafe. The LawnScape Downspout will safely discard roof water far from the house foundation, helping keep water from entering the basement. IceGuards were installed outside the home to avoid flooding from pipe blockage due to ice, snow and other debris.

A mold sensitivity in the family led David and Isabel to contacting Rainy Day to their home in Bellingham, WA. We sent out System Design Specialist, Jean-Paul out for a free inspection and estimate to determine their solution to protecting the home from the mold in their crawl space.
We sent Foreman, David Nush, and the crew out to install our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Conventional unvented crawl spaces are unhealthy and huge energy wasters. To prevent allergen and moisture intrusion, we put in CleanSpace, a durable 20mil thick vapor barrier. This can help seal out cold while reducing moisture and humidity favorable to mold, milew, wood rot, and pests. When we install CleanSpace, the edges and penetrations are all taped, caulked, and sealed. After installing the encapsulation system in the family's home, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We recommend SaniDrys along with any CleanSpace encapsulation to get best performance from your system. This keep humidity low and also prevents any further allergen growth.
During his home remodel, Bill noticed some water seeping into his basement through the wall-floor joint. The problem persisted, leading them to allow Rainy Day to take the rein to fix the problem permanently. We were able to install our patented and guaranteed waterproofing system for them. This included installing WaterGuard at the perimeter to capture ground leaks, a new TripleSafe Sump pump system to pump water out, and our CleanSpace encapsulation system to protect the home from moisture and maintain a healthy humidity level. The result was a complete, livable, and dry basement. Now, they no longer have to worry about water seeping in again.

Allen's Bellingham home was collecting water above the vapor barrier, despite having it installed only one year prior. He wanted us to fix the groundwater issue and prevent dealing with the problem in the future.
Our crew installed our perimeter drainage channel in the crawl space to collect water and discharge from our TripleSafe sump pump system.
Due to the high ceilings, we installed waterproof Foamax insulation panels. We then encapsulated the crawl space in CleanSpace, our thick and durable vapor barrier, to seal out the dirt floor and damp earth. By closing the crawl space off and installing a SaniDry dehumidifier, we can properly prevent problems with humidity, moisture, and mold.
We were able to leave the space dry, clean, and free from worry and trouble in the future.

Brian B. of Bellingham, WA, was ready to get his crawl space waterproofed because he was tired of uneven floors and dampness under his home. We installed a new drainage channel to guide water coming in safely through to our TripleSafe sump pump system. With three pumps in one, the TripleSafe can easily handle high volumes of water and is also equipped with a battery backup pump to keep the system running during power outages or pump failure. We protected the crawl space using a thick CleanSpace liner, which stops moisture from getting into the crawl space from the damp soil beneath. Finally, we put in a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to filter out allergens and keep humidity at bay. The result was a clean, dry, and worry-free crawl space.
Before, this home had water beneath the vapor barrier. We installed a new drainage, sump pump, and encapsulation system that will keep water out and create a healthy environment in the home.
This crawl space in Bellingham had high humidity and moisture, which led to mold. We encapsulated the crawl space in CleanSpace and installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the moisture at bay. Now the space is protected from mold, musty smells, and is far more energy efficient.
If you have standing water under your home like this crawl space did in Bellingham, the problem can escalate. No one wants to smell musty odors or deal with mold growth. To create a healthy environment, we installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This incredible vapor barrier is 20 mil thick as compared to the usual 6 mil thick material, meaning it is more durable to help prevent intrusion of moisture, mold, and pests.
Not all crawl space accesses are created equal. The old one at this home was made of metal, which started to rust. It can also easily allow in dirt, debris, and pests. With the EverLast Crawl Space Access Well System, the well is made of a high-gauge, polyethylene design. No more rust or corrosion with these quality materials!
This homeowner wasd experiencing standing water in both their basement and crawlspace. The problem persisted for a few years, so they decided it was time to repair it. Rainy Day sent out expert, Ed Upenieks for the project. We were able to install our basement drainage system, WaterGuard, along the perimeter of the wall joint. We did perforated piping in the crawl space, and then encapsulated the area using our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Our waterproofing system are high quality and built to last, which is why they come guaranteed. Now the homeowner no longer has to deal with water destroying her basement or crawlspace.
These homeowners n Bellingham were struggling to renovate due to uneven floors. We set out to control the water beneath the home and replace damaged posts to provide a permanent fix and prevent the floors from sagging.
For this project we:
-Removed debris
-Installed 118 feet of perforated drainage piping
-Installed 768 sqft of CleanSpace
-Installed SmartSump
-Replaced 3 posts
-Wrapped piers in CleanSpace
-Installed LawnScape Outlet & IceGuard
-Installed SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifer
These homeowners in Bellingham had a nuisance crawl space with water flooding in. Water leaks can reduce structural integrity, so it is important to repair them early on. We did a full clean-out and installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Now they are fully prepared with the best protection against flooding.
