Boyd and Brenda N. contacted Rainy Day Basement Systems when they noticed an array of problems around their home. They were concerned about a subtle slope starting to develop on the second level, in addition to several cracks in the drywall throughout the home; but these were only the signs of a much worse matter.
The foundation of Boyd and Brenda’s home was sinking; and this was the true underlying source for all of the other problems.
Rainy Day Basement Systems installed eight Push Pier Standard Brackets to support the foundation. What is so effective about this method is that the Push Pier Systems uses highly durable round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to secure and/or elevate sinking or settling foundations. The foundation bracket is stabilized against pre-existing footing and pier sections and are thrusted hydraulically through the foundation bracket into the soil below using the combined structural weight as well as any contributory soil load as resistance.
